Economic Impact of Mass Deportation

Everyone’s heard about building the wall, and mass deportations. In case you’re wondering, or you’re just a numbers person, there are some harsh statistics that people should know about deportation in particular. The Center for American Progress shows the impact on GDP in the U.S., if Trump wasn’t rethinking that whole “throw them all out” deal. (Just a guess, but maybe this is why he’s rethinking it.) Before you dismiss this simply because of the source, read it. Look at the numbers. Then, if you’re still not sure, take a look at what Mike Rowe has been talking about for years now – the fact that there are jobs out there that aren’t being filled either because people aren’t trained for them, or because too few people are willing to do them. Then, look again at the numbers from CAP.
