Former Labour leader Ed Miliband and London Mayor Sadiq Khan are among the prominent people in Labour who have spoken out over the Labour Party’s decision not to expel Ken Livingstone for his comments about Hitler.
The former mayor of London refused to apologise after a disciplinary panel found him guilty of bringing the party into disrepute – but failed to expel him, instead ruling he will be suspended from holding office for a year.
Now, multiple Labour MPs have spoken out, with many complaining about the fact Ken Livingstone wasn’t expelled for his comments.
They are rebelling against the decision of their own party.
