Voter Engagement and News Coverage

The American Press Institute (API) has recently published an in-depth study regarding the information and issues covered in the run up to the General Election of 2016.  The study produced a number of findings, such as the popularity of articles that referenced corruption, and a reduction in issue-based coverage (by some local news networks) the closer it got to Election Day. The API collaborated with the Engaging News Project to produce the report.
