Democrat Misty K. Snow, the first transgender female to run for Senate in 2016, announced she is planning to run for Utah’s 2nd congressional district Wednesday.
Utah Sen. Mike Lee defeated Snow by a landslide, beating his opponent by a 41.1 percent margin. While Snow didn’t win a seat in the upper chamber in the largely red state, she is hoping she’ll have better luck on the House side.
