From Space Race, to Digital Arms Race

One of the main elements of the Cold War, during the 1960s, was the “Space Race”. Seattle’s Space Needle and Monorail, major tourist attractions, were constructed during the period, to mark the Century 21 World’s Fair (1962). The Center for Democracy and Technology (CDT) takes a comprehensive insight into the “Digital Arms Race”. Can it be rejected? What can be done to ensure data and technology is protected from hackers?
