Citizens United has long been a subject of scrutiny, and campaign finance is an issue that causes sharp debate, not just in the US, but around the world. Last month, the Campaign Finance Institute published an analytical essay, that looks at the positives and negatives of three of the crucial policies that have been considered to improve the funding of political campaigns, and to strengthen American democracy. The essay was published by the Tulsa Law Review (Volume 52, Issue 3, Spring 2007).
